The Road of Life
Written by: Butch Evans(Click the name to send email to the author)

As I walk down this road of life,
I wonder at times, just where is Jesus now.
I go through struggles and times of strife.
I want to be in Your will, but I don't know how.

I try to remember to pray and give credit where it is due.
I get so busy with work and home I just don't have time.
I read in your Word that peace can be found only in You.
You give me all that I selfishly call "Mine".

I claim you as Saviour and Lord. I say you are my King.
I pray that you will help me to keep my part of the deal.
You promised that you would not leave nor forsake me for anything.
Give me the strength, dear Lord, to make you the King for real.

Thank you dear Jesus for the enduring love you showed for me.
When you came to this earth, and put on the flesh of a Man.
You suffered and bled, my sins to repay, and died on Calvary's tree.
It was a debt that I could not pay. I give you my life, and all that I am.
