Lost and Found
Written by: Rachel Phillips

I was once a sinner,
Lost in selfish greed.
"Anyone who's lost in sin,
Come forth," the pastor plead.
I ignored the calls and said
That is wasn't quite my time.
I think that I was waiting for
Some bells to loudly chime;
Or something to grab my attention,
And tell me "HELL IS REAL!"
"Anyone who's lost in sin,
come forth and gently kneel."
But please tell me how,
Could it possibly be,
Could this man I do not know,
Decide what's best for me?
I have plenty of time to decide my fate;
I will not die today.
Every day I'd put it off,
And that is what I'd say.
And I thank my loving Jesus,
That by coincidence I was right,
That I was given the chance
On the cool November night,
To accept my Lord and Savior
Into my heart right then.
Now I am no longer lost
In that selfish sin.
Now I have assurance
That if I died today,
Under my name in the Lamb's Book of Life,
This is what it'd say:
Saved and born again
All in the name of the One,
Who died just for her sin,
So that she may run,
With the angels in God's heaven,
Beyone the pearly gates.
Saved and born again,
So this is this child's FATE!
